An early morning fire on Friday tore through a Redlands, California warehouse that helps deliver Amazon shipments.

The warehouse is located as 2255 West Lugonia Avenue. It's operated by Kuehne and Nagel, a logistics company that helps Amazon ship extra-large items to customers, an Amazon spokesperson said.

The fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Redlands public information officer Carl Baker told Business Insider. Photos and videos from the scene showed the building and nearby Amazon Prime trucks engulfed in flames.

Amazon said all employees were safely evacuated from the building.

"We are glad everyone is safe, and thankful for the efforts of the local firefighters and first responders,"said Amazon spokesperson Lisa Levandowski. "This site was operated by a third party and we will support them throughout this process."

Amazon said it expects minimal impact to customers, and that orders will be fulfilled by other locations.
